Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Kampala
Depart Nairobi at 1:30 PM and cross the Busia border late at night. Afterwards, settle in and rest for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Kampala – Kigali
After breakfast in Kampala, continue the journey to Kigali. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, relax, and enjoy swimming. In the evening, you can optionally explore Kigali’s nightlife and party scene.

Day 3: Genocide Memorial & Kigali City Tour
Start the day with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which honors over one million victims. Next, explore Kigali City and the Richard Kandt Museum, learning about Rwanda’s history and culture. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Kivu Day Tour
Begin with a visit to Abyiwacu Cultural Centre and then head to the breathtaking Lake Kivu, shared with the Democratic Republic of Congo. During the day, enjoy a boat ride, explore the hot springs, and take in the stunning scenery. Finally, return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 5: Kigali – Kampala
Enjoy a relaxed morning with free time before departing Kigali in the evening. As a result, you will arrive in Kampala the following morning.

Day 6: Kampala Exploration
Spend the day shopping and touring cultural landmarks, including Buganda Palace, Buganda Parliament, and Gaddaffi National Mosque. In addition, immerse yourself in the local culture and cuisine.

Day 7: Kampala – Nairobi
Check out after breakfast and enjoy some last-minute shopping. Then, embark on the journey back to Nairobi in the evening.

Day 8: Nairobi Arrival
Arrive in Nairobi early morning, concluding a memorable East African adventure.
